REDD

Terms of Service

Effective: September 1, 2026 | Last updated: September 1, 2026

Important: Redd is a voice-based social service available only to people who are at least 18 years old. By registering for, accessing, or using Redd, you confirm that you are 18 or older and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Redd.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form an agreement between you and the operator of Redd (“Redd,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) regarding the Redd app, website, and related services. Our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, room rules, purchase disclosures, and other in-product policies form part of these Terms.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

  1. Age requirement. You must be at least 18 years old. Anyone under 18 may not create an account or use Redd. If we reasonably believe a user is under 18, we may request age verification, restrict access, terminate the account, and delete associated information as required by law.
  2. You must provide accurate and complete information and keep it current. You may not impersonate another person or use anyone's name, image, voice, or information without permission.
  3. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for activity under your account. Report unauthorized use to redd@gmail.com.
  4. You may not sell, rent, transfer, or share your account, or use it for bulk registration or automated activity.

3. The Service

Redd provides topic-based live and scheduled voice rooms, audience hand-raising and speaking seats, host controls, Topic Relay packs, following and mutual connections, private messaging, photos, voice notes, one-to-one audio and video calls, profiles, voice cards, room history, reporting, blocking, support, account deletion, and optional Coins. Features may vary by version, device, region, network, or operational requirements.

Private messages and one-to-one calls are available only after both users follow each other. A one-way follow remains private unless the connection becomes mutual or disclosure is legally required.

4. Voice Rooms and Hosts

  1. Listeners should raise their hand to request speaking access and wait for a host invitation. Do not disrupt rooms, evade controls, or occupy speaking seats abusively.
  2. Hosts may create or schedule rooms, select topics, add descriptions and Topic Relay packs, invite or remove speakers, mute participants, and end rooms.
  3. Host status does not mean Redd endorses the host or their views. Hosts must enforce these Terms and may not enable unlawful, infringing, or harmful conduct.
  4. Redd does not audio-record or video-record live voice rooms or private calls. You may not independently record, capture, stream, or distribute another person's voice, image, or private communications without every participant's express consent and permission under applicable law.

5. User Content

“User Content” includes profile information, text, photos, voice cards, voice notes, room titles and descriptions, live speech, reports, and other material you submit, send, or display.

  1. You retain the rights you lawfully hold in your User Content and represent that you have all rights and permissions needed to share it.
  2. You grant Redd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, display, review, protect, and otherwise use User Content only as needed to operate and improve the service, meet legal obligations, and protect users. This does not allow us to use private messages for unrelated advertising.
  3. You may delete certain content or your account. Copies may remain for a limited period in backups or when needed for safety, disputes, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
  4. We do not guarantee permanent storage. Keep your own copies of important content.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use Redd to create, promote, organize, assist, or encourage:

7. Safety, Reports, and Enforcement

You can block users and report users or voice rooms separately. We may review report materials, account history, public content, relevant technical information, and other information permitted by law. Depending on severity, we may warn users, remove content, limit speaking or messaging, end rooms, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, prevent re-registration, or notify authorities.

We generally do not disclose a reporter's identity to the reported user. We do not promise a specific outcome or full disclosure of moderation details. Contact local emergency services if there is an immediate threat to life or safety.

8. Coins and Digital Items

  1. Coins may be purchased through Apple In-App Purchase and used for optional Topic Relay packs, reusable room backgrounds, room reactions, and other identified digital items.
  2. Coins and digital items are limited, revocable, non-transferable licenses to use service features. They are not currency, deposits, or property and cannot be redeemed for cash, resold, transferred, or traded outside Redd.
  3. Coins do not expire while your account remains active. We may adjust balances when legally required or in cases of refunds, chargebacks, fraud, violations, account deletion, or service termination.
  4. Apple handles pricing, taxes, billing, and refunds under its terms. Except where required by law, used Coins and delivered digital items are non-refundable. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple.
  5. We may change future offerings, prices, or uses, but will not arbitrarily reduce a lawfully acquired Coin balance.

9. Redd Intellectual Property

Except for User Content, Redd and its licensors own the software, interface, branding, text, graphics, sounds, designs, Topic Relay content, and other service materials. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service under these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, sell, or create derivative works except where applicable law expressly permits.

10. Third-Party Services

Redd may rely on Apple, cloud hosting, push notifications, communications, moderation, and other third-party services governed by their own terms. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for Redd's maintenance, support, or claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of Apple-related provisions in these Terms.

11. Changes and Availability

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features for security, compliance, maintenance, or product improvement, with notice where reasonably practical. Networks, devices, maintenance, force majeure, or third parties may interrupt service. We take reasonable steps to maintain Redd but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or universally available service.

12. Account Termination and Deletion

You may request account deletion in Settings or contact us. Deletion removes access to your account, connections, unused Coins, and digital items and is generally irreversible. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, harm, or legal and security risk. Provisions that by nature should survive termination remain effective.

13. Disclaimers and Liability

Users speak for themselves. Redd does not endorse or guarantee user identities, views, advice, offline meetings, or transactions. Share personal information carefully and use your own judgment when interacting with others.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim liability, where legally permitted, for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from User Content, third-party conduct, network failures, or unauthorized account access. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for claims, losses, and reasonable costs resulting from your violation of these Terms, infringement of another person's rights, or unlawful use of Redd, except to the extent caused by Redd's own fault.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Redd's operator location, without limiting mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence. Before filing a claim, the parties should attempt to resolve the dispute by email. Unresolved disputes may be brought before a court with lawful jurisdiction.

16. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms for product, legal, or security reasons and will provide notice through Redd, this page, or another reasonable method. Material changes will receive advance notice when required by law. If you do not accept an update, stop using Redd and delete your account.
